Alone in the Peaks is inspired by a quiet moment on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland, this painting captures a solitary house resting beneath a towering mountain, right at the edge of the ocean. I was drawn to the way the house stands peacefully between the powerful peaks and the calm water — small, yet grounded and strong in its place.
This is an original oil painting on canvas, 24 x 30 cm.
